JOHANNESBURG — Orlando Pirates delivered a ruthless performance as they cruised to an emphatic 6-0 victory over TS Galaxy in a one-sided showdown.
From the opening stages, Pirates looked dominant and in complete control of the match. They attacked with confidence, moved the ball quickly and constantly put TS Galaxy under pressure.
Their attacking intent paid off as they found the breakthrough and never looked back. Pirates continued to pile on the pressure, exposing gaps in the Galaxy defence and taking their chances with clinical finishing.
By the time the final whistle blew, Pirates had scored six unanswered goals in a performance that underlined their quality and hunger. The result was a clear statement from the Buccaneers, who overwhelmed their opponents in every department of the game.
TS Galaxy struggled to cope with Pirates’ pace, movement and intensity throughout the match. Despite their efforts, they were unable to contain the wave of attacks coming their way.
