Siwelele FC has officially parted ways with 23 players ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season as the club begins a major squad overhaul in preparation for the new campaign.
The club announced the departures through a series of social media posts, thanking each player for their contribution and wishing them well in the next chapter of their careers.

Those released are Ricardo Goss, Mahlatse Makudubela, Maloisane Mokhele, Thabo Mokhele, Chibuike Ohizu, Buhle Mkhwanazi, Samir Nurkovic, Nyiko Mobbie, Samkelo Zwane, Koketso Sekgodiso, Mandlenkosi Nkosi, Ghampani Lungu, Bohlale Ngwato, Neo Rapoo, Thabang Mahlangu, Lazola Maku, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Happy Mashiane, Pogiso Sanoka, Enoch Quaicoe, Gape Moralo, Keanin Ayer and Lyle Lakay.

The club also confirmed the departure of assistant coach Onismor Bhasera, who was thanked for his service.
Several of the departing players joined Siwelele FC from SuperSport United and are expected to move on as part of agreements linked to the club’s restructuring.

Meanwhile, head coach Lehlohonolo Seema urged those remaining at the club to embrace the challenges of pre-season.”Pre-season is where sacrifices become strengths. The work we do now is the confidence we’ll carry into the season. Don’t chase perfection, chase progress. Be better today than you were yesterday and the results will take care of themselves,” Seema said.

The departures mark the beginning of what is expected to be a busy transfer window as Siwelele FC continues rebuilding its squad ahead of the new season.
