The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) is exploring opportunities to strengthen football development in the country following a meeting between the Likuena technical team and renowned South African coach Pitso Mosimane earlier this week.

The LeFA delegation, which included Likuena head coach Bob Mafoso, assistant coach Motolo Makepe, fitness coach Mosa Moseneke and LeFA Media and Stakeholder Manager Mikia Kalati, paid a courtesy visit to Mosimane.

The delegation was warmly received by Mosimane and representatives from MT Sports Marketing and Management, who represent the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach.
According to LeFA, discussions centred on continental football, technical development and possible areas of collaboration between the association and the Pitso Mosimane Youth Football programme.

The engagement forms part of LeFA’s efforts to benchmark its football structures, gain technical knowledge and establish strategic partnerships aimed at advancing football development in Lesotho.
The association said the initiative is focused on both the national team and youth football, with the aim of creating opportunities that can contribute to the long-term growth of the sport in the country
