The struggling Siwelele FC have got a big mountain to climb as they welcome the high-flying Orlando Pirates in the Betway premiership encounter at the Toyota stadium in Bloemfontein on Tuesday. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:30.

The wounded Siwelele, come to this contest after they suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Limpopo based outfit Magesi on Saturday while the Buccaneers players come with their heads held high following a resounding 3-0 victor against Lioli FC from Lesotho in the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round tie played at the Toyota stadium.

Lehlohonolo Seema troops have only managed to collect four points out of the possible 21 points. As a result, they find themselves on the third bottom on the log table. They are on top of Orbit College and Chippa United who have also collected the same number of points but they are separated by goals difference.

The green and white boys have failed to find the back of the net in their last six games. They last scored three goals against Golden Arrows in their first league game when they won 3-1 in front of the packed Dr Molemela stadium in August.

The frustrated supporters will be praying for a second win of the season against Pirates. However, the players know that securing three points against the Soweto giants will not be easy. Siwelele strikers will also have to bring along their scoring boots for them to win the game. Siwelele have also announced the signing of new players.

Pirates players are also hoping to close the 10 points gap from the log leaders, Sekhukhune FC. They are eighth on the table with nine points after five games. Even though they started the season on a wrong foot losing two opening games against Sekhukhune and Marumo Gallants, it looks like they have found a rhythm, and they are on song, scoring goals left, right and centre.
