International Pageant Director Mr Chief Leeuw recently hosted the Second Annual Beauty contest for schools in Bloemfontein at the Civic Theatre.
The Mr & Miss Primary/High School 2025 Pageant is reinforcing his commitment to youth empowerment and community development.
The event organized under the Miss Mangaung Metro brand celebrated young talent and self-confidence as 38 participants competed for top honors across seven categories.
The pageant, according to Chief Leeuw was designed to help young participants, “understand and embrace their identities, regardless of their school background.”
The event saw strong support from parents, schools, and businesses.
One of the participants parents Mme Qhoai said,”My heart is bursting with pride, joy and gratitude. I saw my child Kutloano Qhoai, a Grade 6 learner from Onze Rust Primary School stepping onto the stage with so much confidence, grace and her just being her authentic self.
‘’I am so proud of her! It has been a stressful journey because it is only her first time in the pageant scene and her winning was a dream come true. I hope she inspires anyone her age to grow into confidence, find her voice and embrace her uniqueness.”
Other victors were Ntombientle Dokoza (Little Miss Tiny Primary), Ginifar Mofokeng (Little Miss Petite Primary), Onkarabetse Leeuw (Little Miss Daisy Primary), Kutloano Qhoai (Little Miss Primary), Cynthia Leteane (Miss Junior High), and Olerato Phalatsane (Mr High).
“At Maxim, we believe in going beyond transportation to drive real community impact,” said Lesoli Lemphane, Maxim representative. “Supporting youth development through events like this aligns perfectly with our vision for a brighter future.”
